03-21-07, 08:55 AM Does anyone remember the Midgard serpents name (From the Norse pantheon) and what do you think his stats would be. I'm thinking of making him a 0 - 5 divine rank or maybe an epic monster? Is there any stats in any of the books?

what do you guys think?You mean Jormundgand? I would peg him as being at least rank 1 because of his ability to give the gods a challenge and the fact that rank 0 is reserved for demigods. Definitely epic, and no, I don't know if he's statted out anywhere, sorry.

03-21-07, 10:16 AM He was stated in 1st ed. I dont think it was very well done, but there where stats. Seems like it was in Gods Demi Gods and heros, but that was a long time ago, so dont quote me.

03-21-07, 10:20 AM Thor is stated several places. As the two are supposed to be near balanced in power, do something just a little less than him.

There are lots of mythical Gods statted...

Though they often differ from what WotC already statted. They've got their own guidelines about statting and creating deities. Which I find pretty good.

The creature you listed wasn't made according to those guidelines. It was made by Kain to be consistent with the rest of his creatures, not to be consistent with DF Cosmology. In the latter, Jormungandr'd likely be more powerful.

Didn't Palindrome do a version of Jormungandr? I seem to recall somebody did. On par with Thor.
