| Evil DM Mk303-28-07, 06:42 PM | Is there a music domain? |
| malykoth03-28-07, 07:30 PM | Not that I know of (at least officially)...yet it seems like an obvious one, doesn't it? I wonder why it was forgotten? |
| Jim Johnny03-29-07, 06:15 AM | they forgot indeed. But we can try and make one! I will make a start. Granted power(sp): special prerequisite:The cleric must carry and use his musical instrument. One he is familiar with and knows how to use it. He gains perform(his instrument) as a class skill instead of cross class. He also has to choose among the three starting abilities a Bard gains from baric music: Counter Courage, Fascinate and Inspire Courage He then is able once per day to use his music to produce that magical ability. He is able to play his music for one round per level. And the creatures affected are equal to the Cleric's CHA modifier (opponents in case of Fascinate, Allies in case of Inspire Courage and whoever the bard desires in the case of Countersong.) Music Domain Spells 1st: Ventriloquism 2nd: Improvisation 3rd: Harmonic Chorus 4th: Haunting Tune 5th: Protege (or) shoot 6th: Song of Discord 7th: Shout, greater 8th: Symponic Nightmare 9th: --------------------------------- I cannot think of an interesting 9th level spell. The rest are mainly from Spell Compendium. I tried to find spells relative to music. Most of the Bard's spells i used are a level higher than their original level but they fit well because Bard has only 6 spell levels. Check them out. I want your opinion. If you want the description of the spells i can send them to you. |
| TimelordSimone03-29-07, 07:23 PM | Personally, I would try to get Otto's Iresistable Dance in there somwhere. I forget what level it is though, and the books are all the way upstairs...... *lazy* Looks good though. |
