This isn't all my gods. I'll be thinking them up later, but for now I want to finish these guys.
So I was hoping some of you guys could help me out. Such as point me in the direction of the domains I need.

Castle Obilion will be either part of The World That Never Was or a seperate plane that's ruled by the Organisation.

I'll right out the history of them as gods soon

No offense, but you kinda need to proofread this stuff before you post it. TYPOS... I feel like they're choking me. Well anyways, this Pantheon is too Evil Dominant for My tastes. And you got a serious thing for the Lawful Evil alignment.

Most Pantheons will have mostly good dieties or neutral ones, with a few severly evil dieties. Dieties typically will shape the way a society will develop either directly or indirectly. If you're gonna have THAT many evil dieties I would hate to see what kind of societies would be in the world because, if they're good, I don't see how it could possibly work.

You also have a lot of un-originality (don't take it to hard) but that just has to be said. You have a lot KH and KH2 ideas there. Be original man. Too much of the 'Nobody' thing going on.

Don't rip-off other ideas. Not cool.

(also, it is 'Organization'... with a 'z')

I may hate the letter 'X' after this...

As I said before this isn't my whole Pantheon.

Why is the pantheon so Evil-dominant and why does every-but-one name has an -X- in it?

Because I stole them from Kingdom Hearts:D

You really adore the letter "X"

Not particuly

Firsty, I'm sorry if I've mispelt things, I have more important things to worry about. Also, sorry if the last sentance sounded aggressive in any way. I went with Lawful because it's what they were in the game. Either that or neutral evil. Some may have acted chaotic but it was a cover.

I know I ripped of a few things. I admited that.

I have a question for you though.
Who are you to tell me it's not cool for me to use already existing stuff in MY campaign world. I asked my players if they had a problem with it.

This is a major problem in this forum. To much of people telling people what NOT to do because they disagree with it. Not one of you has been helpful in anyway because you failed to read the whole post.

Now unless you have some suggestions that could be of use, DO NOT come to thread again.

Also, this getting upset over OTHER PEOPLE spelling things wrong. Ever think that there might be a reason. Like...I dunno...Dislexia?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok.

I'm guessing there no such thing as a Nothingness domain or anything similar, and its sounds like it'll be awkward to make. I'll have to figure that out later. Are their Space, Ice, Moon, Time, Flower(probably stick with plant), Electricity/Lighting, or Light domains?
Mirron

Actually, even if it was an act in some cases, I think having Lexaeus, Larxene, and Saix be Chaotic would not be a large stretch, given their battle styles. If anything, the Organization is Neutral, because to be Evil or Good would require a Heart. However, I believe that you should still allow some to be good. Let me see:

Xemnas: NE
Xigbar: LN
Xaldin: CN
Vexen: LN
Lexaeus: CN
Zexion: LN
Saix: CN
Axel: NN
Demyx: CN
Luxord: LN
Marluxia: LN
Larxene: CN
Roxas: NG

Notice that, aside from rare exceptions, they are Neutral on the Good/Evil scale. Nothingness, akward? Just give them spells that use Negative Energy, like the Inflict spell series, they use Negative Energy. Yes, their is a Moon domain, Ice and Electricity, those are easy, not sure about Space, but it would be easy as well, probably a Light, and yes, their is a Time Domain.

I guess your right about the alignments, but in the game a heart was a good thing. It's hard to explain, but the entire concept of the games was the hearts are a part of goodness. Though they could get consume by darkness, and the Nobodies and heartless were evil.
I haven't gotten to far in CoM but wasn't Larxene a sadist of sorts?

The Moon and Time dmains are in the Faerun Players Guide aren't they?
I think I remember seeing them there.
For nothingness, do you mean like the healing domain except with inflict?
I thought Ice would be very similar to the Water Domain except described differently. I agree electricity would be easy. I'm not sure about space, seeing as there isn't many low level spells that involve extradimensional spaces. Light seems like it would just be the healing domain with a different name.
Mirron

05-15-07, 09:24 PM
The Heart could be swayed, forced to either Good or Evil. Nobodies, lacking Hearts, could not be either Good or Evil. Maleficent had a Heart, yet she was clearly evil, as were Pete, Jaffar, Ursula, etc. Nobodies were not light or darkness, but teetering on the edge of nothing.

Yes, Larxene was sadistic, but she also seemed to represent the wild, untamed fury of lightning, hence her Chaotic alignment.

Um, I'm not sure where they are, but you can find them on the official site.

I guess. Not entirely sure.

In Dragonlance, they have an Ice and a Thunder domain, I think. I'll check.

Well, Space I can work on.

Light doesn't need to be healing. I can see about that too.

Ice Domain
0—ray of frost; 1st—chill touch; 2nd—chill metal (as 2nd-level druid spell); 3rd—sleet storm; 4th—wall of ice; 5th—cone of cold; 6th—freezing sphere; 7th—delayed blast frostball (as delayed blast fireball, but deals cold damage instead of fire damage); 8th—polar ray; 9th—comet swarm (as meteor swarm, but deals cold damage instead of fire damage).

Thunder Domain
0—flare; 1st—shocking grasp; 2nd—crackling sphere*; 3rd—lightning bolt; 4th—spark shield*; 5th—call lightning storm; 6th—chain lightning; 7th—electrical storm*; 8th—repel metal or stone; 9th—storm of vengeance.

Light Domain
0—light; 1st—color spray; 2nd—continual flame; 3rd—searing light; 4th—rainbow pattern; 5th—persistent image; 6th—mislead; 7th—sunbeam; 8th—sunburst; 9th—Prismatic Sphere.

You make a good point, and I'll change the alignments when I add the Domains. I'll have a look for Time and Moon, and thanks for the Ice, Thunder, and Light domains.

Isn't there a domain they has all the Inflict spells already though?
Mirron

05-15-07, 09:50 PM
Not a clue if their is a Negative energy one. Given that Xemnas uses Nothingness, which fits negative energy, if their isn't, I reccomend you just copy the Healing Domain, with slight changes.
MasonMurdoc

05-15-07, 10:14 PM
I'm thinking of giving Zexion an Illusionary domain, and a shapeshifting domain.

Please stopped me if I get a few things wrong, because I haven't played Chain of Memories all the way. Just got past the first Larxene fight.

I changed Lexaeus' favoured weapon to throwing axe because thats more like a tomahawk.

Other gods I'll be working on will be evil Pelor inspired by a thread on this forum, and maybe a slightly altered Heironious and Hextor that aren't bitter rivals. Both good guys.

Two questions for Mirron. 1 What are the * for? 2 How comes you've put 0 level domain spells?

I'll try to finish Org XIII tommorow, then Chase after that.
Mirron

05-15-07, 10:17 PM
Yes, he would have Illusion. The Domains are used mainly in Dragonlance, and in that they have 0 Level spells, and the * were already there.
MasonMurdoc

Fair enough
Does that mean I have to get hold of the Dragonlance setting book?
Also, do they have granted abiliies already then? What kind of granted ability would nothingness grant?
Mirron

05-15-07, 10:46 PM
Oh, you don't need to include the 0 Level spells, just drop those. Like I said, base Nothingness off of Healing, just replace cure with inflict as much as possible. No, you don't need the Dragonlance book.
MasonMurdoc

05-16-07, 12:01 AM
I put the Nothingness domain in the top post, tell me what you think.
I put disintegrate because It seemed like the best replacement for regenerate. Granted ability could be +1 caster level to necromancy spells but disintigrate isn't necro.

I've also put up Heironeous, Hextor, and Pelor. But no history for any of them yet, though I have some ideas. I also took down the histories of the rest because they no longer fit with the new alignments. I didn't like Roxas' anyway.

I'm gonna put the domains you made under nothingness, so I don't forget
Mirron

05-16-07, 10:19 AM
I'll check on the granted powers of the other ones. As for Nothingness, make it give a +1 caster level for spells that deal with negative energy. CO should be the home plane of the CoM Organization, with Axel included. TWTNW should be the home plane for the KH2 Organization, while Twilight Town should be a unique home plane for Roxas. I'll help you with their history, if you want.

Thunder and Ice are fine, but Light seems off. If they have normal light vision only, they gain Low-Light vision, up to their natural Light vision. If they have Low Light, they gain Dark Vision up to half their natural vision. Typically this is how vision progress'.

A few things

1. You have Complete Psionics?

2. What is your opinion on Psionics?

3. Is the flavor, mainly the different houses, in it interesting?

4. Oh, well, I guess we could use that. I just don't see why you would choose Low-Light vision over Dark Vision, since I believe that having Dark Vision gives you Low Light Vision.

1. Yes

2. They seem pretty cool. I'v never seem them playe them though. I don't have Expanded Psionics.

3. I haven't really read into them them. When I can be bothered I'll have a read an let you know.

4. I don't think it does. They both work differently. I'll see if I can fin anything, and I'll change it i I find something.

One thing abou Chase Young. He likes his followers/minions to rely on their own skills, so I was thinking of giving Clerics of him some monk abilities. Any thoughts?
Mirron

05-17-07, 10:58 AM
Well, you can find the Expanded Psionics here: www.d20srd.org, if your interested.

Let me see, it's a good thing I have such varied interests, I actually know about most of the deities you have planned. That would work, I think that his Clerics would mainly be cross class Monks. But, if he has a unique domain, then that domain granting the Clerics unarmed strikes like half their total Cleric level, rounded up, in the Monk class might work. Or, to explain in a diagram: C/2 = M (For unarmed strike). C = Cleric, M = Monk.
MasonMurdoc

05-17-07, 12:46 PM
Thanks

Yeah, that could work. I think I'll finish Org XIII first before worrying about him.
The main issue is Zexion, Demyx, and Luxord's favoured weapons.
A lawful god of gambling is a bit odd, but not really an issue.
Xemnas' portfilio, might be a problem. Do gods need them?
Mirron

05-17-07, 01:16 PM
Most gods do have portfolios, but that can be worked on later. I'll look around, although creating weapons that they can use shouldn't be too difficult. Cards would obviously be smaller, but, probably like how Setzer uses them, as a ranged weapon primarily. Luxord could use cards like he does, and the same size as in KH2. Demyx could be musical instruments, probably both ranged and close. Zexion could be books, except that they have an offensive spell tied into them, or perhaps certain words trigger the book to launch an energy blast.
MasonMurdoc

05-18-07, 06:16 AM
That could work. But I'd have no idea how to make it work.
