If we were to have Evening Glory give birth to Nerull's child, what would he/she grow up to be? What Ultimate death god would result? Discuss and develop our new Godling here. And for the love of Death, keep the Pelorites out. P.S. Afflux can be godfather!
rivaltuna 05-21-07, 07:25 PM	I would say N with evil tendencies, and would be a death expert. Maybe not KILLING death like nerull, or loving death like EG, but death INCARNATE. And he needs to kill his father =D Nerull is awsome, but his domains just suck. Death needs to be LAWFUL, not chaotic. Personally i like chaos better, but just not for THE GRIM REAPER. I'd say Rouge 10, Assasin 10, Cleric 20, Expert 5, if were going by Deities and Demigods, divine rank of, oh, say, 6? 7?

Ugh.:noway: I'm not exactly sure how eternal glory and nerull's child would look like, or what his portfolio might be. I mean, it can't simply be death, his father already has that. It can't be decay, not with her mother... and it can't be pestilance for the same reason. I'd rather see him as neutral, we have enough evil death gods. His domain might be a mix of his parent's, even though I'd personnally find it stupid (a god's domains are not based on his ancestry but on his role as a god), or, if you really want the ultimate death god, Death, Undeath and Deathbound domain. So, um, I don't really have any idea for this. Sorry.

Maybe go with a god of Life AND death. Give him/her (which we should decide soon) Death, Deathbound and Healing. Y'know: Negative + Negative = Negative (Death and Deathbound) Negative x Negative = Positive (Healing)

Nerull is Neutral Evil. He's an equal-opportunity sociopath. Honestly.... I don't see these two gods getting together. I think death gods, like undead, should be universally sterile. Even if Evening Glory isn't, Nerull would never consider getting close enough to another being for such an act of creative passion, since he wants all life to slide into the void. Remember, Nerull's motive isn't death for death's sake, he wants to KILL YOU because he HATES YOU. Yes, you. All of you. Individually.
I_am_an_undead 05-25-07, 10:46 AM	I know that there wouldn't be any love between the two gods, given Nerull's views on life (that it shouldn't exist), but I could think of ways to make it work. For example, evening glory might have stole a bit of Nerull's seed in an effort to give birth to a powerful descendance. I wouldn't put that above her, especially since I see her as a twisted version of greek goddess Aphrodite...
