Norse lands [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-30-07, 12:05 PM I cant decide wehter to put it in the monster's lair, here, or the upcoming products category but here it goes.

I love the norse myths and I think a new book should be made to go more into detail about them and stat out some of its creatures, some examples are, Fenrir, The midgard serpent, the Nidhogg, the midgard serpent spawn, and the fenrir wolf brood. Also more gods such as ymir the first giant, Age, and the norns. and give more info about the realms of their mitholodgy such as Hel, jotunhiem and muspelhiem. Also more options for characters in a Norse world such as new templates, races, classes and prestige classes. Also more about the norse government and society.

As for this post I would like people to post their ideas of cretures, classes/prestige classes, templates, etc. from norse myth.

I shall soon post two versions of ymir, one as a god and one as a powerful entitie/giant.

Wouldn't the ghost of Ymir be slightly better?I mean considering what happened to his body in the myths it might be kind of difficult to have the living Ymir.

07-31-07, 11:25 PM No i should get the viking book. As to Ymir, I figure a living Ymir your probably right, but if you've ever played age of mythology, Ymir is the norce titan. I wanted to stat that so i'll probably have that be a Ymir spawn or something and have the Ymir ghost idea be the actual god.
