Other Demon Lords [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-15-07, 10:39 AM i was re-reading the Demonicon about Dagon and noticed several demon lords that i wasn't familiar with. any information on the following besides Dagon's demonicon?

1. Ubothar
2. Vroth-Khun
3. Lascer of the Shadow Shoal

1 + 2 were said to be imprisoned on another plane. anyone know which one?

08-15-07, 08:27 PM Lascer is detailed in Dragon #297 (the epic level issue). In a nutshell, he was a mortal who gained enough power to rival the gods, and when he tried to steal worship away from them, they moved to destroy him. They cast his apparently lifeless body into the astral plane. But his soul survived and possessed the body of an outcast fiend, and when the possession was complete, his new form, that of a paragon infernal burst forth. He has since sponsored the shadow shoal, a group of powerful assassins, in order to gain enough power to escape his astral prison.

08-15-07, 08:35 PM Ubothar is a demon lord of destruction and natural disasters. His collosal body is imprisoned on the Prime Material, where orcish cultists revere him as "The Thunder Below."

He is described in the WOTC online miniadventure "The Thunder Below."

08-16-07, 11:07 AM Poor Dagon doesn't know who's comming for him. With their stats as written, it won't be a fight, it will be a slaughter. Dagon has no chance at all :D

08-16-07, 03:41 PM Yeah, no kidding. Wasn't Lascer the paragon infernal? Plus some class levels? He'd slaughter all of the statted archfiends, whether you used the Demonomicon stats, BoVD stats or the FC1 stats. In fact, I could replace 'or' with 'and' without changing the veracity of that statement.

40 HD paragon infernal plus 20 spellcasting class levels (including epic spells up to DC 96) :evillaugh
yeah i just got mine today and saw him in there... they did a nice job ;)
In Dragon 359? Did he get new stats?
