| Sigurd van Norhusen08-20-07, 10:26 AM | So, here's a couple of questions. 1) What calendar system would work best for a "multiversal" calendar? I have seen the Oelven calender used a couple of times and it would make sense. Are there any better suited for this task, however? 2) After seeing several different timelines, I think this one (http://forums.gleemax.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=98) has the most logical approach to comparable calendar dates. Any obvious errors you can spot that would invalidate the whole thing (except for the Ravenloft wackiness - I keep thinking that time derisions are appropriate for the Demiplane of Dread)? 3) Using the Spelljammer Timeline from above and the Dark Sun/Ravenloft intersection of the Temporal Chronology of the Primes (I forgot the link), 5043 OC would be -1013 FY (and without Jander Sunstar's timely intersection point, 732 of the Barovian Calendar). Considering that the Demiplane seems to be totally unreliable in that regard, what other intersection points exist between Dark Sun and other campaigns? 4) What intersection points (if any) exist with "our" world (the one where Elminster regularly chats up with Ed Greenwood), Gothic Earth, and Cerilia (Birthright)? |
