planar exotic materials in 3.5 [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-14-07, 08:01 PM Where can I find a complete 3.5 list of planar exotic materials for making weapons and armor? I'm looking for things like greensteel, redsteel, and starmetal. I have some piecemeal descriptions but they are all different and seem to made up by different people. I'm wanting actual published descriptions.

03-15-07, 05:15 PM Starmetal is in Complete Arcane, and is arguably not planar at all. Planar Handbook has Abyssal bloodiron and Astral driftmetal, in the sidebars on pages 69 and 70.

03-15-07, 06:58 PM IIRC Greensteel only served to make the weapon crafted with it +1m but it only comes from Baator.

03-15-07, 07:54 PM As with starmetal the same argument goes for aurorum which is mentioned in BoED but for which no Upper Plane was given as a source IIRC.
