Well, I'm sure most of you are aware of Tenebrous and the Primus that he killed with the last word ending up vestiges, however, what other iconic planar figures might you consider for vestigedom (note that it might be possible to bind with a powerful non-vestige, but the interactions in such a case would be quite different due to lack of the desperation that most vestiges have)?

Also, your thoughts on the story behind Otiax and Orthos ( as in, what you think they are. They both seem possibly planar origin, Otiax moreso.)?

I just added Gygax as a Vestige yesterday!!!
I didn't know Primus was a vestige actually, then again I'm behind on books at the moment.

Personally I would think Kas (scrub that, just found out he's in the same magazine as Primus!!)

Well, seeing as my idea was already published...I don't know, but I can't wait to hear others

Otiax, to me, is the guardian of the gateway between the rest of the Multiverse and whatever the Far Realms are. One might surmise that the vestiges are the edge of this side of existence and so Otiax guards the border. Similarly, on the other side, Bolgathamogg (sp?) is the guardian.

Of course, Otiax might just be some crazy tentacled blob who got pseudo-killed by adventurers....

Orthos, I suspect, never came from anywhere else. He was somehow existing in the "nothing" where vestiges dwell. Perhaps he and Sun Sing are related somehow....

Zariel. If Asmodeus consuming Geryon left him a vestige, then Bel's similar action towards his former mistress could also.

I can totally see the four entities that the Aboleth revere (LoM) being vestiges. Actually, I think someone may have even done this on the homebrew vestige thread.

You know, Orthos is the howling dark right? But so is the entire Plane of Pandemonium.

A friend of mine recently came up with the theory that Orthos is in fact the primal concept of fear of the dark and small spaces. Thus explaining its influence, it asserts its nature upon the binder.

Is it just me or does Tharizdun sound like somebody powerful enough to have a dual nature as both a god and a Vestige? I mean, Tenebrous returned and took his title as Orcus but still remains a Vestige.

Not to mention that Tharizdun's "prison" has more holes in it than a tea bag.
