| Allanius11-17-07, 04:43 PM | I have played and enjoyed the CRPG Planescape: Torment and was wondering if any of the monsters there have any 3.x stats. The ones I can't find are: Gehreleth (Devil); Glabrezu, Greater (Demon); Larval Worm; Lim-lim; Sohmein; Trelon; Tricha; Trigit; Trocopotaka; and Tuscampa |
| ikki11-17-07, 06:43 PM | Gehreleths are daemondands and have been statted. just like the Glabrezu, Demon. Larval worms are treated more like objects, but have been statted aswell. |
| TheSilverBard11-18-07, 03:28 AM | As above stated, Glabrezus have been statted out and can be found in the first 3.5 Monster Manual. A 'Greater Glabrezu' these days, would essentially just be an advanced Glabrezu. Gehreleths (Also known as Demodands) are another type of fiend entirely, consisting of the three variants. The one from Torment is most likely a Farastus. All three may be found in the Fiend Folio. Larval Worms, I don't believe have appeared statted since the second edition Planescape Monster Manuals, And even so, were *nowhere* near as nasty as the ones in Torment. Lim-Lims are at best a CR 1 Critter with points or feats allowing it to jump great distances. Aside from that one Lim-Lim summomed by the Wizard's Enclave, they're more or less harmless. Sohmien seem to be a variant used instead of Nightmares, which is a shame, as I personally thought they were an interesting enough creature. Clearly they've their differing points of origin - Sohmien being demonic horse-like creatures, beastial and living only to stampede and cause destruction in the Abyss or wherever they should so appear. Whereas the Nightmare hails from the Grey Wastes and has all the lore and traits so given to them in the Monster Manuals. As a substitute, You could perhaps make a horse with the Fiendish template, or even make them Demons themselves (Not Tanar'ri, Just Demons) and give them the template that comes from being shaped by a Sibriex. Forgive me if it escapes my memory at the moment. Trelons! Oh how I loved (and hated) those orange bastards! I've searched everywhere for their statistics and have found nothing worth noting. Essentially a pack-oriented bipedal, orange scaled reptile with two, long Praying-Mantis-like talons and a maw full of fangs. Wish I could be of assistance here, I really do. Tricha - Fiendish Emus? Mayhap? Trigits were essentially Treants created by Ravel Puzzlewell from the Razorvine brambles in her maze. If you were to recreate them or have them restatted, You may wish to slightly advance a regular Treant and give them a Bleeding Wounds-like ability and additional slashing damage when attacking and perhaps even struck to show that they are covered in Razorvines. Trocopotakas - Albino Fiendish Crocodiles, I dare say. Either that, or some manner of crocodilian dinosaur. Tuscampas are another creature that have not found their way to print, along with the Gronk and Grillig. But anyway, You could more or less create the Tuscampa as a huge humanoid race native to Carceri - Or imprisoned there. |
| Weenie11-18-07, 10:11 AM | Coaxmetal, Grillig, Gronk, Lim-Lim, Shadow (True), Sohmien, Thokola, Trelon, Tricha, Trigit, Trocopotaca, and Tuscampa have all been converted to 3.5 in this thread (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=307692). |
