This order is introduced in the 2E supplement Guide to Hell. It is a new sanctioned order of the church of St. Cuthbert, whose mission is to root out Devils in the Flanaess. (GtH claims that Canon Hazen did only banish demons and not devils in the Flight of Fiends, this is debatable though). The founder of the l'Ordre is based at l'Abbaye de la Croix Glorieuse (the Abbey of the glorious cross) in the Vesve Forest.

Think Inquisition/Templars.

From GtH: "L'Ordre de la Croix-Rose Veritas (Order of the Rosy Cross of Truth) is an example of an organization built using the new kits described in this chapter. The order's home is in the GREYHAWK® campaign setting, but it can be easily slotted into any campaign by changing certain aspects of its history.

The 2E kits are roughly anologous to prestige classes in 3E. There's one kit for each of the base character classes: the Devil Slayer (fighter), the Thaumaturgist (wizard), the Inquisitor (cleric), and the Hellblade (rogue).

The article Hell on Oerth (http://www.canonfire.com/cfhtml/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=453) on canonfire has some info pertaining to that organization.

There's also a wikipedia entry about it here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Cuthbert_(Dungeons_&_Dragons)).

There were 3.0-compatible prestige classes on the Green Ronin website (since Chris Pramas, who wrote Guide to Hell, runs Green Ronin).

Oh! Here they are. (http://64.17.155.164/gr_files/focus09.pdf) The "Inquisitor" prestige class is essentially a generic d20 version of the La Croix-Rose Veritas Inquisitor kit. They're appropriate for clerics or paladins. There are prestige class versions of the other kits from Guide to Hell, too.

Better than a direct link to the PDF? Better how? I could link to this page (http://www.greenronin.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=1001&Product_Code=grr1005), but it just has another direct link to the PDF on it. I'm not sure what else I can do. Find a computer that has a browser that can read PDF files.

Or simply right-click the link and choose either "Save Link As" (if using Firefox) or "Save Target As..." (if using IE). This will download the .pdf to the location of your choice (like a flash drive). Open it from Windows Explorer and you're all set.
