Plane shift is a quick travel spell. It's usefulness is based on where you want to go.

08-03-07, 12:58 PM Planeshift is also useful as a touch attack. Such as if you want to transport that nasty undead you're fighting to the positive energy plane, or something to the elemental plane of fire.
