Thunderbolt as a minor Artifact [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-01-07, 06:48 AM Ok now I need to make Zeus's thunderbolt as a minor artifact. I was thinking of usuing a Staff of The Magi and changing the flavor to better befit the young god of olympus.

08-01-07, 12:09 PM Zeus' Thunderbolts don't need to be minor artifacts. Have them be Javelins of Lightning, for the full 10d6 damage from lightning bolt, and you have his minor thunderbolts. Have an Intensified True Javelin of Lightning, maybe with returning, and put it in that it won't be destroyed in use, and you have his thunderbolts.

Pretty much, what I suggest is an Intensifed 10d6 Javelin of Lightning, that is not consumed in the use, and that returns to your hand at the end of the round.
