| Osedox08-14-07, 10:47 PM | Well Wee Jas is the goddess of death, magic, and beauty. I see her followers as lonely people mostly understood by the population due to their focus on death and feared magics. As far as day to day activities, they could preside over funerals and burials, make clothes and other vanity related materials, and order and collect arcane writings. I suppose you could emphasize any of her qualities to make things seem however you want. Here (http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/community/gaming/campaignJournals/ageOfWormsAdventurePathPlaytestTyralandi Scrimm&page=1) is a really cool journal written in 1st person by James Jacobs the Editor-in-Chief of the now extinct Dungeon and Dragon, and the new Pathfinder. It tells the tale of Tyralandi Scrimm, the cleric of Wee Jas who was born half dead. It is of her adventures through the first several adventures in the Age of Worms Adventure Path. |
| Orchomenos08-15-07, 12:10 PM | She's not really the goddess of beauty, she's more a goddess of vanity. She happens to be an extremely powerful deity, to be very beautiful, and to be proud of that. She has a long explanation in the Living Greyhawk Deities (go here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=lg/welcome), check in the right part the section on Campaign Documents, and download Living Greyhawk Deities). As Osedox said, clerics of Wee Jas arbitrate disputes, give advice on magic, investigate magical curiosities, create magic items, and administer funerals. The do not necessary craft clothes and jewel, but they are expected to be well dressed. |

It was part of the Wormfood articles which were written to help players in the Age of Worms Adventure Path. Anyways one of those was giving several ideas of how to spiff up characters for the attendence of a Ball, which was required for the plotline. The Church of Wee Jas in the free city of greyhawk was offering perfumes and other accesories, blah blah blah. So thats where I got that from. |
| Thanael08-16-07, 09:13 AM | http://www.wizards.com/rpga/downloads/LG_Deities.zip Also G.V.Dammerungs articles (http://www.canonfire.com/cfhtml/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=userinfo&username=gvdammerung) on Wee Jas might be hepful. The third part Wee Jas Resurrected (http://www.canonfire.com/cfhtml/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=580) has some intersting ideas for Sample Cults of Wee Jas. |
