| TimelordSimone03-19-07, 11:04 AM | My current character is a sorceress. She is a devout worshipper of Wee Jas. I'm not sure what I should be offering to her. Last time, I expended some spell energy as an offering... |
| Tarascon03-19-07, 03:05 PM | You need to offer something of beauty to Wee Jas, as she is a goddess of vanity. It should preferably have a dark or macabre feeling to it. For example; a necklace with a skull motif, a dress with Wee Jas' holy symbol, etc. Magic items will also work, as would just simple money. |
| Andyr03-19-07, 03:28 PM | Dragon #350 had a Core Beliefs article on Wee Jas--I don't have it to hand, but it might be useful if you can get hold of it. :) |
| lint trap03-20-07, 03:58 PM | Well, flowers never hurt... In fact, for a goddess of death and love, a (magically) burnt offering of rare flowers might be particularly appropriate. For a large offering, a dose of black lotus extract would make a lovely sacrifice. Just be sure to wear gloves. |

| Dracomortis03-20-07, 08:59 PM | While you're at it, make it a +5 unholy vorpal mirror, and cover the paladin in black lotus. Anyway, it's not exactly what you meant, but I used to have a necromancer devoted to Wee Jas who was looking for a way to save his wife (this was before Libris Mortis, so no Morning Glory yet), so I made up this little prayer my character would chant whenever he made a sacrifice (usually in the form of scrolls or wands given to his church). Ode to Wee Jas Emptiness I cannot fill, Hate I cannot hide. The darkness has made me ill, Dying from inside. All alone, it's cold and shrill, So in her I do confide. Help me pay the reaper's bill, And keep my love alive. |
| Frater_9503-20-07, 11:46 PM | I thought about playing a Warlock who had made a pact with Wee Jas that after a certain number of years of life he would serve her for the rest of eternity. He happened to be an Elf that was shunned because he couldn't use a sword worth a damn, he was cast out because he did not have Corellon's favor. |
