03-21-08, 09:25 AM The azer are a race of dwarves native to the elemental plane of Fire. Famous for fighting a never-ending battle against the efreeti. I can't seem to remember anything about who their deity is. Some help would be appreciated, thanx.

03-21-08, 11:03 AM I'm not quite sure myself, but I'd be very surprised if they didn't worship Moradin. A fire deity like Kossuth also sounds possible, although it would probably be more respect than worship.

03-21-08, 11:15 PM Most likely they worship Tharmekhûl, who is depicted in Races of Stone as an azer in one of his forms. His herald and allies are azers, too.

They might well worship other gods, like Kossuth, Moradin, Agni, and other gods of fire or metalsmithing. They also have a king, Amaimon.

Note that many azers live and work in the City of Brass, and they control a powerful guild there with nearly exclusive rights to make weapons and armor for the efreeti Sultan, so they're certainly not all at war with the efreet. Planar Handbook, page 141.
