Worshiping a Pantheon and Deity’s favored weapon? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-17-07, 06:52 AM If you worship a Pantheon, do you get access to all their favored weapons? Which one do you choose?

07-17-07, 10:08 AM Most of the pantheons have a set favoured weapon. I would say that if the pantheon has a weapon that appears a lot (say 3 out of 6 gods have the longsword) that weapon should be the favoured one of the pantheon. Failing that, perhaps you could use the favoured weapon of the main god. . .if all the other gods defer to him, it should be no problem for the mortals to.

07-17-07, 10:12 AM In a case like this, I would fall back on the favored weapon of the cleric's alignment (as though the cleric had no deity) unless there were a major theme running through the pantheon that made a different weapon an obviously better choice.
