| Link_L.O.Z._Warrior05-30-07, 07:27 PM | this is a fairly simple request. Can somebody explain how to apply a template of any kind to a creature? Just the simple rules for it, etc. I can't seem to figure it out. |
| weasel005-30-07, 07:50 PM | add all abilites from the template to base creature, and any appropriate CR (and thusly ECL) #s and your set. In many cases, the template will overrule normal things for a base creature. IE: adding any undead template to a base creature will change the Hit Dice to all d12s. |

| smorgasbord_of_pie05-31-07, 07:24 PM | adding any undead template to a base creature will change the Hit Dice to all d12s. I've got a question about that... If a Wizard Turned Lich, would the Undead template change his class hit die into d12s as well, or just racial hit die? |
| weasel005-31-07, 08:05 PM | All HD. MM pg 167, left column under "creating a lich" Hit Dice: Increase all current and future Hit Dice to d12s. |
