| Lord Nedd02-24-07, 05:28 PM | Greetings one and all, The whole mechanic of turning/rebuking begs the question. Are there specific feats or spells that bolster or weaken the target HD? I can think of a few spells, but they do it indirectly such as desecrate or consecrate which does it to an area. There is also the feat that improves the caster level of the turning attempt. However, I am curious of the opposite. Can you have a deathless with an 'fortified positive shield'? I know that in one of the books they added protection spells for both positive and negative energy, but they cap out at 10 hp damage and seemingly unaffected by turn attempts. Are there any directly affecting spells that help vs turning/rebuking/commanding? Is the only way to strengthen a dealthless or undead is to bolster it? Curious minds are desperate to know. (I didn't see any reference to that in the faq, but I read it quickly and may have missed something. I read it a second time, and alas, I didn't notice any clarification.) -LN |

I noticed the reference to the postive/negative energy resistance feat, as well as the bolstered undead feat that gives +4 undead bonus to the creature that a CorpseCrafter has made. Still haven't found anything about a feat that an undead can take to strengthen its turning resistance personally though. Hmm. |
