| Warric07-27-07, 06:06 PM | Some questions I don't know how to quite rule: 1. If a PC fights with a weapon in each hand and wears a buckler, does the -1 to hit penalty apply to all attacks or only on the off-hand? 2. When applying the benefit of the Shield Ward feat, if the shield is magical, do you apply the enhancement bonus as well, or strictly the shield bonus? Thanks in advance, Warric |

Although rarely a problem the ACP is also a penalty and unless you've taken Improved Buckler Defense you will lose the buckler's AC until you start your next turn. Using a Bow or Crossbow with a Buckler is presumed to have no attack penalty. 2. The magical enhancement bonus increases the Shield AC. You don't have a Shield AC plus an enhancement AC you just have a Shield AC. Armor works the same way. |
