Perhaps a house ruling, or maybe its written somewhere. ..

but if a Cleric - say a Cleric of Pelor in this case - consecrated a Vampire's cofin - and then later they fought the Vampire and forced it to flee to said coffin. .would the consecrated coffin interfere with the Vampire's using it to heal in?

The consecrate spell wouldn't interfere at all with the vampire's healing.

But it would make him easier to turn.

And it would most likely **** him off.

On a purely roleplaying tangent, he might be inclined to use a different coffin located elsewhere. Nothing would force him to, but he might choose to.

Just thinking of ways to GM it- was at the end of the last session and as it seems to involve some creative thinking, I want to at least offer some reward.

Darn effing adventurers.... running into my domain,... killing my minions... ruining my meals.... then hacking at me.... /sigh,... what I need is a good few hours... uh...
