Nah, just kidding. I just wanted you to look at this thread.

This has probably been addressed about 3,000 times on this discussion board already, but what all exactly gets doubled, or tripled, or home runned, on a critical hit?

I know stuff like "Flaming" and the +2 from enchantment doesn't, but what about weapon specialization and greater weapon specialization damage?

Just use a +2 Flaming Greatsword 19-20/x2 for your examples please.

Flaming does not, Enhancement bonus DOES.

+Str
+favored enemy bonus
+Power attack
+Weapon Specialization
+weapon enhancement bonus
+smite
ALL Multiplied

+xdx
sneak attack/skirmish/sudden strike
holy/unholy/axiomatic/anarchic
flame/frost/corrosive/shock
NOT multiplied

A 4th level fighter with a +2 Flaming Greatsword with Weapon Specialization and +4 str bonus will do:

4d6+20+1d6 fire on a crit.
2d6 base weapon dmg doubled=4d6
+2 WSp, +2 enhancement bonus, +6 str (1.5 str for two handed weapon)= 10 which is doubled=20

+1d6 flaming (not doubled)

PH pg 134 (emphasis mine): "roll damage multiple times (with all modifiers)", "Exception: extra dice of damage are not multiplied".

Yeah, easy way to remember it:

If it gives an actual number, it's multiplied.
If it gives a number of dice to roll, it's not.
