Damage Reduction in Antimagic Field.

Sometimes Damage Reduction is Supernatural (Su) and sometimes it's Extraordinary (Ex). The former is negated by Antimagic, and the latter isn't. How the heck do I find out which is which?

Example from my campaign. Party in a room. Antimagic field activates and they are attacked by a Fiendish Grey Render. Supernatural abilities cease functioning, but there's no indication in the Fiendish Creature template whether its DR is (Su) or (Ex).

Thanks

Check out the errata for the DMG.
EDIT: Make that the MM errata.

DR/Slashing, bludgeoning, or piercing is Ex.
DR/- is Ex.
DR/Adamantine is Ex.
DR/Cold Iron or Silver is Su.
DR/(Alignment) is Su.
DR/Magic is Su.
DR/Epic is likely Su as well, though it is not listed. Just taking the logical jump.
