Disguising Eldritch blast [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-08-07, 05:15 AM I'm looking for an in game method of disguising the warlock's eldritch blast so that it appears as the hellfire blast ability of the hellfire warlock from Fiendish codex II. I'm running a hellfire warlock as the main antagonist (and having a lot of fun with it!) but he wants to flee now and needs a fall guy to stand in and die for him. Unfortunately, hellfire is pretty unique and if the patsy can't mimic it, its almost certain the gig will be up. Any ideas?
