| Jaraxle04-29-07, 03:48 PM | Hey guys, I am looking for the following: People with a good knowledge of the Faerun and its lore. Experienced dms that know how to keep a pbp role play going without being disruptive. And someone who is active enough to help me out at my site. Anyone think this sounds like fun? |
| Radijs04-29-07, 06:18 PM | Sounds more like you've got the wrong forum. This one is for questions about the rules of the game. Try DnD general discussion. |
| Jaraxle04-29-07, 10:51 PM | I tried there but I would also love some replies here :) |
| Xykon04-30-07, 04:03 AM | Um you may need to indicate location as well. I mean, i would like to take up your offer, just fly to hong kong and meet me somewhere near the North Point district :D |

| On_the_wings_of_TPK05-02-07, 02:38 PM | People with a good knowledge of the Faerun and its lore. Sorry The realms aren't my cup of tea. However the fokes over here: http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=9 auto to know it inside out. Experienced dms that know how to keep a pbp role play going without being disruptive. The key is in the discription. The more the better. Think of it like reading a book. The more imaginative the discriptions the better. I recomend the following; 1) No metagame talk in the play thread. None never ever, ever ever. everything you say will be takin as your character saying it. If you need to ask for a spot check, or what have you, then use the out of character thread, or Im the relavent person. Example: I would like a spot check to see what is the cave: "Marcgul looks intently around the cave, checking for any signs of movement." or I attack the goblin. "Margul grips his greatsword tightly. Using his left hand to guide, while pushing all his might into his right arm, he swings furiousely at the stinky goblin. 2) The more senses a discription adresses the better. The room is ten foot, by ten foot. It is made of worked mansoner. "The iron door creeks open. revealing a room aproximately 10ft by 10ft. Its walls are made of an ordinary grey finnished stine. the cracks in the finnish indacte that it has been standing here quietly for somet ime. It's only companion the slow eroding forces of nature. The room smells musky, like a basement, long ago sealed away for the light of day. The only sound is the beating of your own heart." And someone who is active enough to help me out at my site. Anyone think this sounds like fun? depends on the help you need. I'm a student with no social life to speak of. I'd be glad to offer you as much assistance as I can. But again I'm not a fey ruin fan. |
