Best to stick to spell trigger items for the arcane side though, unless you have significant Int or Cha, and wear no armour. Making the caster level check is going to be hard enough with only +1 to the roll (to get a +2 you'd need to take four levels of cleric) without adding ASF to the mix, and when using spell completion items you need an ability score high enough to have cast the spell in the first place. |
