First an easy one,
-Is there any errata for the dragonlance and age of mortals books?

-second is the spellfilch (prestige class) special ability to be able to swap out spells for extra abilities supposed to be only once a day? seems way to weak and almost useless.

-Third, The war mage prestige class has an ability (book not near me  ) that says they get (at 5th lvl in class) +3 dmg per die. Is this correct? that would mean a wizard with dalamar's lightning lance at 16th could do this following combo right?
-quickened dalamar's
-twin spell dalamar's
-celerity
-twin spell dalamar's
total 45d6+135 sonic + 150d6 +450 lightning

or did i miss something?

sorry for not having the book page numbers handy.

The only errata you may find on the Wizards website will be for the DLCS. All the other sourcebooks are 3rd party material. You should check at www.dragonlance.com.

In fact, you should probably ask all of your questions on their message boards (or in the WotC Dragonlance Forum).

thanks for the link.

Though it didn't have errata for the above things i was looking for

maybe i can ask this here. Would any of the DM's here allow that prestige class in their campaigns. it seems to be way overpowered and unbalancing for the level.

4 spells in one turn is what I find overpowering. Remember that he can't cast an immediate spell and a quickened spell in the same turn. He'd have to wait with the Celerity and the second Twinned Lightning Lance until someone else's turn.

The damage you list is correct, except none of it is sonic damage; the damage you list as sonic is impact damage.

In any case, you're using 3 of your prepared 8th-level spells to do this, plus a 4th-level spell. Considering that fact, I don't see it as particularly overpowering.

The War Mage prestige class also requires 2 feats (Eschew Materials and Combat Casting) that are mostly worthless, while the 3rd feat (Weapon Focus) is also not something that would be on the top of my feat-purchasing lists.

So, to sum up: Yes, I would allow the War Mage in my games.

I don't find prestige classes to be problematic, in general. They're generally balanced for the levels in which you can take them, and offer a good alternative to your typical class abilities.
