 I have seen it posted in several posts that a character with Favored Enemy(Undead) for example can add say Sneak Attack damage against an undead caught flat-footed. My question is: is this comment true and if so where can I find the official ruling.

I have a player who wants to make a ranger/scout with Favored Enemy(Construct) and Favored Enemy(Undead) in order to use skirmish damage against these creatures and I need to know if this official errata or just some generally accepted concept, as I have never seen anyone question the validity of the above mentioned posts.

Thanks for any clarifications.:)

Close. A character with Skirmish damage (the scout), Favored Enemy (type immune to crits/sneak attack) (the Ranger) and Complete Scoundrel's Swift Tracker feat can apply Skirmish damage to that type of creature. There is no over-arcing rule that allows anybody with Favored Enemy to apply sneak attack/sudden strike/skirmish to types normally immune to critical hits.

Thanks for the quick and mostly accurate response. The feat is actually Swift Hunter, but I was able to easily figure that out. Again thanks as it will save me arguments later.:D
