The player doesn't have the Craft Construct feat, so he is going to use a goelm manual(8000 gp). The golem manual entry in the DMG states that when using the golem manual the creator must provide the body for the golem. So I ask: must the player supply only 6 dead bodies and unguents worth 500 gp(so the total cost of the golem would be 8000+500=8500 gp), or do they have to pay the listed creating price of the golem(10500 gp) in addition to the golem manual? 2. When you craft an item that has certain spells as prerequisites you actually have to cast the spells into the item, right? When one of the required spells has an XP component(such as limited wish for flesh golem) is this XP cost lsited in the necessary xp to create the item?

The 10,500gp cost is actually 10,000 gp + 500gp (unguents). The golem manual provides only the XP, not the gp cost. So, the total cost would be 10,000gp (magic supplies) + 8,000gp (Golem Manual) + 500gp (unguents) = 18,500gp. 2. The golem manual provides the XP required to create the golem, including the XP required for the Limited Wish spell.
