PH 3.5 page 84 (under the Swim skill) says you can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to your Constitution score. DMG 3.5 page 304 (under Drowning) says you can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to twice your Constitution score. I've checked the WotC errata for both books but can't find any reference to the discrepancy. Does anyone know of a definitive ruling or, in the absence one, which rule is most realistic? Thanks! |
