That is, if my Warblade uses "Monent of Perfect Mind" to make a will save (immediate) then when his initiative comes up, his swift action is already used up for that round. Is that the case? Also - can you use a move action to perform a swift action, in the same way that you can use a standard action to do a move action? Thus, if my WB does a moment of perfect mind, (using up his swift action) can he use a move action to regain his maneuvers, provided that he then does nothing or makes an attack as a standard action? |

That's how I read it. It allows for some synergy between Swift and Immediate actions (expend a swift action on your turn, then a situation comes up that calls for an immediate action, though only usable after your turn has finished,) at the cost of the next rounds' swift action. Also - can you use a move action to perform a swift action, in the same way that you can use a standard action to do a move action? Not as written. |

Sometimes I think swifts would make sense to be useable as move actions, similar to a standard to do a move. But i'm not sure if that'd work too well, since that'd give you 2 swifts and that might be more broken than two move actions and a standard action. Maybe there should be some rule about if you are limited to a single standard or move action in a round (I think some of the Tome of Battle manuvers can do that) you should be allowed a single swift in place if you choose, not sure though. Like how zombies only have one standard action per round but can manage a half-charge. |
