DreadArchon 06-16-07, 12:41 AM	Let's say that my Troll Totemist wants a Flame Cincture ( :plotting: ), so he takes the Shape Soulmeld feat. Does its use count against his Soulmelds per Day from his Totemist class? If so, this brings up another question: Let's say that he doesn't start as a meldshaper. He takes Shape Soulmeld: Planar Chausible and Shape Soulmeld: Flame Cincture while he's a... I dunno, rogue or something. Is he allowed to use them? I'm guessing yes, because apparently the point of those feats is to let non-shapers dabble in Incarnum. If so, what happens if he takes a level in Soulborn ("0 Melds per Day")? Does this shut down his previously existing abilities? Or am I off on a weird tangent and the point of the feat is to give each class access to the others' lists? Bah, confused. :confused:
Marcus Majarra 06-16-07, 01:42 AM	The Shape Soulmeld feat is self-contained. You gain the ability to shape a given soulmeld, and only that soulmeld. It doesn't count against your class soulmeld limit, just like the Open Chakra feats allow you to bind melds or items to those chakras without being counted against your class chakra binds.
