Well, the PCs thought it was a good idea. I didnt expect that so I had a little trouble trying to make clear this...

The Vampire, of course, resisted the Charm effect, but the poor drow (with a polymorph spell that made him human while they were at town) was the first one the Vampire saw...

Now... I have the DMG 3.0 and it says "she actually becomes enamored if the creature is of similar race or kind. The charm effects wear off in 1d3 hours, but the enamoring effect is permanent". So, even if someone resist the charm effect they are in love? Can a Vampire LOVE?? And the "permanent" would mean as a normal love... could it dissapear naturally with time, or the Drow should start looking for garlic?

Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects).

The problem was that the drow is male...and so the Vampire. lol
They didnt know if the suspicious man was a really vampire... and in lack of other spells they tried to use the potion to get some information with the Charm effect. They dont now if the vampire was affected... so I could play a lil with their minds, specially the poor drow.
LOL
