Hi -

What unarmed damage does a monk do at 20th level with the Improved Natural Attack feat?

Then, enlarged damage for said monk?

Thanks.

4d8 and 6d8.

Medium + INA is the same as Large.

Wow - so that's a bump of 7 damage per hit?

2d10x5.5 damage average per die = 11 points per hit
4d8x4.5 avg per die= 18 points per hit

plus 9 more points per when enlarged . . .

Sounds worth it to me.

4d8 and 6d8.

Medium + INA is the same as Large.

Nooooo! Nooo!! Back! Back to the darkness foul being!

Sorry, this topic keeps popping up every few weeks, and the drama starts all over again each time- You get people saying yes, others saying no, more references and reposts of single sentences in the books and FAQs than you could get out of a Xerox before it broke, wordsmithing, "depends on what your definition of 'is' is", and general thread explosion.

But, uh, yeah, provided you've gotten over the whole can or can't bit, you would do the damage of a large (or huge) 20th level monk.

Doooood
The OP (and the previous posters, to be fair) mentioned nothing of the drama that is: "omg a monk can('t) have INA".

Let it die.

There is no more "drama". It's in the FAQ now. You can.

Well, most of the time all it takes is the words "monk" and "INA" in the same thread to make all the stuff come out of the woodwork- its like sharks and blood- they come from miles away, and get into a feeding frenzy once there.

And my bit of melodrama was my attempt to let it die :D
