Hello all. My question (if it has been answered before, I apologize) is that if a character has nondetection on him/her and cast any invisibility spell, would casters with things such as see invisibility or true seeing have to make CL checks to see them?

Thanks!

Since the purpose of Nondetection is to fool divination in general, and both of the spells you mentioned are divination, I see no reason that it would not work as all other divinations and require a caster level check. I would say yes, it would work the same as any other divination attempted on the target.

I would say yes, ND provides protection against SI, TS, Arcane Sight..., though Purge invisibility can pierce through.

Isn't Invisibility Purge an Evocation?

(agree that it would affect see invisibility and true seeing)

Nondetection would also not interfere with glitterdust or faerie fire since they aren't divinations.
