LSMFT 04-03-08, 05:21 PM	Yes you can cast spells. Dragons can, so the verbal a somatic components can be met. You cannot reach material components if they were inyour component pouch, since it now is part of your form.

Andrew 04-03-08, 06:42 PM	The above are all correct for polymorph, polymorph any object, and draconic polymorph (yes, into a more draconic dragon). As part of the new "monomorph" spells and the associated (Polymorph) subschool, dragonshape (PHB2) removes your spellcasting ability (along with about every other feature you'd find on your own character sheet, other than HP).
runestar 04-05-08, 12:47 AM	I think there is a source (draconomicon?) which states that dragons can ignore material components when it comes to casting. Not sure if it applies to casters polymorphed into dragons though.
