Question on negative damage? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-06-07, 10:10 PM When a creature has a damage value of 1d2-5 for example, what would be the outcome? I have read and understand the "to a minimum of 1 damage" but I am just curious if there is any different rules for that?

In the extraordinary event that a creature like that has its Strength buffed, or otherwise would do more damage with its attack, then it might matter what the minuses were.
