banshinator 10-22-07, 08:29 AM	Hello, hope someone can give a definite answer to this (probably) simple question. Level 1 Barbarian/lvl 9 Fighter How many 'temporary hitpoints' would this character get when he uses his daily Rage ability? A.) Does get +2 extra hp (for his single barbarian level), or B.) Does he get +20 extra hp (+2/total character level - 2hp x 10 total levels) Does Rage 'stack' with other levels... well, I hope you know where I'm getting at. //B
runestar 10-22-07, 08:38 AM	Rage does not grant temp hp. It simply increases your con score temporarily. Thus, your hp will increase by 2*(total HD) for the duration of the rage, but note that you will lose those hp when the rage ends. The concept is similar to getting extra hp from con increases via wearing an amulet which boosts con, or increasing it with stat boosts when you level up.:)
