Sondur Dragonbane 07-26-07, 02:19 PM	Okay it states in the Book of Exalted Deeds that both Undead and Evil Outsiders take ADDITIONAL damage from Ravges and Afflictions. However because the Ravages and Afflictions do ability damage aren't Undead immune to them? Seems pointless to me to state Undead take extra damage but then have them be immune to 95% of the Ravages & Afflictions.
Marcus Majarra 07-26-07, 04:58 PM	Undead are only immune to ability damage to their physical ability scores. Int/Wis/Cha damage still affects undead.
Sondur Dragonbane 07-27-07, 08:25 AM	True but when the Ravages & Afflictions mainly do Str/Dex/Con damage, and the chapter describing them states they do EXTRA damage to Undead and evil Outsiders it seems kind of pointless when undead are immune to Str/Dex/Con damage to begin with. The chapter does state they are supernatural in nature so perhaps they ignore the undead immunity to physical ability damage?

I would have to check. As far as I could tell (after looking it over), undead are still immune to ability damage and drain to their physical scores. Marcus Majarra 07-27-07, 04:04 PM	I've just looked through the section. Undead are immune to ravages and afflictions that deal ability damage to Str/Dex/Con. Their only vulnerabilities are: Ravages Jade Water Afflictions Consuming Passion Pride In Vain Haunting Conscience
