What happens if two characters are separated by a passing train, and both ready actions to hit the other as soon as the train passes? Who goes first?

Or, in a chase scene, one character is running from another, ducks 10' into an alley, and readies an action to shoot the first person to come around the corner. The character chasing him suspects he will see the other character, and opts to ready an action to shoot the first person he sees in the alley. How does that resolve?

1) One of four ways:
A-Spot check to figure out who spots whom first after train
B-Reflex Save to aim around the train first
C-He who has the higher init. always has first chance to use readied action
D-They're "tied" so you do a Dex comparison to break the tie-possible init re-roll
I would rule with C myself.

2) Player waiting in alley gets first shot because he's already set. His ready will interupt the chaser popping around the corner then the chaser can ready an action..... That second person can't ready an action to shoot the first person he sees in the ally until after he's in the ally...*BANG!* and now already been shot.

I would probably have them act simultaneously, then use initiative to establish the order after that attack is resolved.

The character chasing him suspects he will see the other character, and opts to ready an action to shoot the first person he sees in the alley. How does that resolve? The second guy, the chaser has to move first to clear the corner. If he doesnt move, he cant get around the corner to see anyone. He is then, taking a move action. Since he is in the middle of a move action, he cannot also be readying an attack action.
