Skirmish and Concealment [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-26-07, 03:08 PM I recently had an issue come up where the scout in the group I DM for where the scout was fighting a creature with a gaze attack. He was averting his eyes granting the monster concealment. He made the percentiles and hit, however my understanding of skirmish was that concealment made the target immune to precision damage of all kinds. The books I checked however had no clear answer if you could skirmish a target with concealment. Can anyone clear this up?

03-26-07, 07:50 PM In order to use skirmish, scouts must be able to see their opponent well enough to pick out a vital spot to target, just like a rogue does for sneak attack. Since sneak attack is unavailable when subjected to any kind of miss chance, I'm inclined to believe that skirmish follows the same restriction.

This is how I believe it was meant to be done was well.
