The Skelleton from the Monster Manual has a scimitar and a heavy steel shield, but is that stat block intended only for skelletons you find in dungeons? Or does the summoned skelleton apear with a scimitar and shield as well? |

Would the only way to direct them more intelligently be to use a follow-up command undead attempt or a spell with a similar effect? Summon Undead would work like a Summon Monster spell, but since the summoned creatures are mindless I don't think the usual communication would work like with a celestial/infernal vermin. |

| Ace_of_time12-25-07, 11:48 AM | It says in the SC that it works like summon monster spell. So ifyou can communicate with them then you can direct them to targets. I'd say non INt ones summoned attack the closest enemy. The rest would depend on if you can communicate with them or not. They don't count toward the allow per HD. I don't think a control undead spell would be needed. |
