| Merestil Haye03-05-08, 05:43 PM | A creature who uses Dimension Door, whether by casting a spell or some item, can take no further actions in the round. So, no. All they've done is put themselves in melee range of the enemy. Even if they use Teleport or some such other effect instead, the charge requires that the creature move from their starting point to the closest square to that point from which the target can be attacked. If they've teleported to the far side of the enemy, they have not obeyed that restriction so they have not charged. |

To Charge you must go straight to the closest square that you can attack the enemy by and attack him. If you teleport behind him, that is not the closest square. All you have done is double moved and then teleported behind him. |

Or, to put it more simply: Teleport, THEN charge. |

More or less what Tedronai said, the charge has to be uninterrupted. You can: Charge (including the attack) then use a swift action to teleport or Use a swift action to teleport then charge and attack Seems to me with the short range on the anklet you would probably want to do the first action. While you don't charge into the rear you do wind up on that side of the enemy so your party mates can charge him and get the benefits of flanking. |
