RainerNader 04-09-07, 01:00 PM	Two players in my D&D group are having a debate about the "Walk Unseen" Warlock Invocation in the Complete Arcane. The text of the ability is: "You gain the ability to fade from view. You can use invisibility (self only), except the duration is 24 hours." As you may have guessed, Player #1 thinks the invocation can only be used once every 24 hours, and Player #2 thinks the invocation can be used infinitely, with each individual use potentially lasting 24 hours. Who is right?
darokinblade 04-09-07, 01:03 PM	Player #2. All warlock invocations are usable at will, unless otherwise stated. It would be worded "This invocation can only be used once per day." It simply is stating that once used, until an attack action is made, the warlock remains invisible for 24 hours instead of the usual caster level minutes.

goawayugh 04-10-07, 03:11 PM	agree to all. Invocations can be used at will unless specified otherwise. It says it lasts for 24 hours because that is how long it will last if he does not attack anything. (keep in mind it mimics the invisibility spell, not greater invis.
