10-01-07, 02:55 PM Can a medium PC wield 2 small two handed swords and still get a +2 to damage per -1 to hit he takes with power attack? Yes i kno hes only gona hit on a natrual 20, but hes gona do alot of damage when he does. Could i make wielder undersized weapon a non-epic feat?

Slightly Off topic: can i make wield oversized weapon a non-epic feat? neglecting the -2 to hit just doesnt sound epic

10-01-07, 04:51 PM First of all, I don't mean to be rude, but work on your grammar. A few mistakes are reasonable, but that is just going to far. Commas, capitalization, type out the whole dang word.

Second, no. He will only get 2:1 returns with power attack if he is using a weapon in both hands.

10-01-07, 08:26 PM Pretty sure an undersized weapon is considered Light, which would mean you get absolutely no return on Power Attack. Can't provide a quote on this, but I'll look it over later.

10-02-07, 01:19 AM A medium character can wield a small one-handed weapon as a light weapon or a small two-handed weapon as a one-handed weapon. In both cases, he gets a -2 penalty to attack for wielding a weapon of inappropriate size.

As for Power Attack, it only gives a 2:1 bonus when you wield a weapon with both hands. Since you can wield a one-handed weapon with both hands, you could get a small two-handed weapons (a one-handed weapon for you), hold it in both hands and get the 2:1 Power Attack bonus. Of course, you'd be much better with a two-handed weapon sized for your race, negating the -2 penalty and dealing more damage that its small counterpart.
