| Elvez4ever05-31-06, 10:34 PM | I've decided that Sovereign Glue is one of the most versitile magic items created. There's just so much you can do with it! Glue people's weapons/items to their armor and watch the fun! I wanted to see just how many things people could come up with. Strange or practical, post it here! |

| anki06-01-06, 02:36 AM | 9)Glue a Drow and an Elf together!Even if the Drow kills the Elf he will still have to drag the dead Elf around(hmm...Trophy?) 10)Glue a Dwarfs beard to his an Elf!Guess which end gets cut off... :evillaugh 11)Glue a dragons mouth shut and tickle him... |
| Silverthumb12806-01-06, 04:02 AM | 8) When the bard's singing gets annoying, glue his mouth shut. That should shut him up :D 12) Sovereign Peanut Butter! |

(for a dragon) Applying different colored scales to yourself to confuse adventurers. 22. Glue a beholder's central eye shut. 23. Makeshift weapon repairs. 24. Makeshift double weapon. 25. Glue a sleeping ettin's heads together (facing one way), then you and your buddy run to opposite sides of it, scream, and see which head is the dominant thinking head. 26. | Novacat06-01-06, 10:02 AM | 27. Glue the flatulent dwarf's butt closed. |
| Tristan06-01-06, 01:49 PM | Im all for getting the last laugh when the dragon swallows you whole, of glueing his mouth shut apparently, you can use it to glue nobles and their guards in humiliating naked positions for people to come across with it. I learned this when playing with a group of young adults who's evil charactes I plan killing if they give me a reason. w t f |
| qbogle06-01-06, 02:39 PM | 28. Attaching a halfling to your shield to confuse your enemies, or ..... make them target you faster.... 29. The old upside down room trick!!!!! |

| Rudi_Schteppen06-01-06, 07:54 PM | Yes, I like the idea of using glue to make sure they stay up at night, attempting to get OUT of the odd positions you put them in while they were sleeping. But here's my favorite: Glue a bunch of flasks of Oil of Impact to the target. PLease note that the target is A) unconscious and B) ticklish. Not what you do is glue a feather to the end of a quarterstaff and proceed to tickle them until they wake up. You can also put them in an awkward position like balancing on top of a quarterstaff, then waking them up. Just use a spell to hold him in place till he wakes up... then BOOM! |
| Chaotis06-01-06, 07:59 PM | 36: Sov. glue the spellbook to the familiar. 37: After doing 36, glue the spellbook to the wizard :D . 38: Glue the top of the decanter of endless water, and speak the Geyser command word. Pressure builds up until: BOOOOOOOOM! 39: Glue a Blink dog and a Displacer beast together  . 40: Need to uproot a tree? Glue a raging barbarian to it! 41: Glue the Lich's phylactery to a cannonball, and fire. |
| TalRave06-01-06, 09:30 PM | 42 - Glue a bunch of silver pieces to the end of any blunt weapon. Instant Anti-Lycanthrope Maul. |
| Waterhammer06-02-06, 12:36 AM | This is kind of contra to the thread so I'll post no number. One thing sovereign glue is not good for: Fixing the radiator of a '68 Wagoneer. You gotta take it to Earl. |
| Lord_Bahamut06-02-06, 01:14 AM | How 'bout these? 43) Sov. Glue the Tarrasque's mouth and nostrils closed. 44)Glue a hundred weakened necklace of fireballs type VII (they explode when explosed to any fire damage) together and place it in the villians castle. BOOM!!!!! (around 10,200 points of fire damage. Can anyone say NUKE?) :D 45)Glue an odopi's hands together. 46)Glue someone's face to the cookpot. |
| Kadasbrass06-02-06, 02:00 AM | 47) Glue a Kobold onto the face of the Tarrasque, but above the mouth in between the eyes so it is always staring at it... |
| Blades_of_Fury06-02-06, 07:04 AM | 48) See what hapens when the dragon with its mouth glued shut tries to ues its breath weapon |
| Elvez4ever06-02-06, 12:00 PM | I'm impressed! all these ar quite good! The Fireball necklaces would acctually be pretty cool. You could like vaporize entire towns with enough of them. lol. "Waiter, my steak seems to be overcooked...." |
| Wharin06-02-06, 05:34 PM | 49) Instant Anti-Grav Machine: Buttered Toast glued to a cats back... and watch the chaos ensue |
| Brand_X06-04-06, 12:18 PM | 50) Glue Yourself to a Balor's Arm - Permanent Grapple - A bard did this in our campaign and became a shield for the Balor. |

Depending on DM discretion, subject may: A) Blow up like a balloon. B) Never have to worry about suffocation again. But they'll starve. 56: Glue 2 dog's tails together. Watch as they run in a circle. 57: Glue a Balor to a Pit Fiend. 58: Even better: Glue Asmodeus to Orcus! 59: Glue any awakened construct to its creator. Why not? 60: Glue a Demilich's soul gems + phylactery to the Tarrasque's teeth. |
| Falido06-04-06, 01:13 PM | 61) Give it to a stupid friend (int 6 for example) and tell him its hair Gel! I did this last Friday haha |
| Watchdog_of_Hades06-04-06, 01:31 PM | #1-61 (about): Glue one amazingly powerful thing to another. Don't ask me how, just do it! Uh huh. 62) Improved tanglefoot bag. 63) Glue shut a door. 64) Glue a pair of ring gates together, "in" side to "in" side. You then either have an impenetrable barrier or something that will shove the first half of anything that goes through into the back half. Owch. Either way, nothing can get through. Not even Magic Missiles, since you can just put this in the way, and since the gates are rings, the Missiles can pass through, so they try, and... reflect? Dunno. Interesting problem. |
| DragonRg606-04-06, 02:19 PM | Glue several decanters of endless water to several seagulls, release, bellow command word for the stream effect. "Instant" water-world. |
| speeblefreak06-04-06, 04:16 PM | 35: Soverign glue a Decanter of Endless Water (or a Decanter of Endless Ale!) to the BBEG's mouth and speak the command word for 'Geyser' I'll expect royalties, you know. :D 66. Create a Decanter of Endless Sovereign Glue and commence your reign of sticky terror! If anybody dares to question your orders...GLUE 'EM! If a town rebels against you...GLUE 'EM! 67. Glue a xag-ya to a xeg-yi, making sure to use enough glue such that they don't actually touch. 68. As 35, but first glue shut all of the BBEG's orifices, glue armor plates to the BBEG so that its body is 100% covered, and glue the armor plates to each other at the same time. |
| Stardrake06-04-06, 08:22 PM | 69] Pour it on the road to make a road-runner trap (that, oddly enough, only works on coyotes....) |
| big_bluto06-05-06, 08:26 AM | I had an ego-maniac gnome with a 'warped' sense of humour, who loved glue for occasions such as these. His favourite was; 70) Glueing the party dwarf warriors beer tankard to his helmet (as often as it was removed) Others included: 71) Glueing every dead orc, goblin, hobgoblin, etc to the battle wagon 72) Glueing the lich lords feet to the floor (didn't work, but was worth a try) 73) Glueing a huge poster on the side of the wagon that said not very nice things about the aforementioned lich-lord 74) Glueing prisoners hands together, one arm behind, one in front, and joined between their knees, making them do the 'elephant shuffle' 75) Putting glue on the handles of tankards and glasses before leaving the bar 76) Putting glue on the inside handle of the rude shopkeepers door, and then walking out and leaving it open as an insult (frequently trapping the shopkeeper inside to the doorhandle!) Ahhhh......Kelukin, you were such a fun character to play! :weep: |
| Weaponbreaker06-05-06, 09:20 AM | 77. Glue the drawbrige open. 78. If time permits glue the dragons hoard into interesting 3900 copper piece statues because you have no way to remove 800 pounds of coin. 79. Glue inside the helmet |
| Lord_Bahamut06-06-06, 02:04 AM | 80) a potion of Sov. Glue 81) Use it as a grenade-like weapon Yes, I actually did the necklace fo firballs thing in a campaign. My sorc character spent waaaaay to much xp crafting most of the necklaces, then I got fed up and just bought them. We were at this big floating castle, at the very center, and were fighting the BBEG great wyrm shadow dragon. I tossed my "bomb" on the ground and used mass teleport to take me an my buds away, cast delayed fireball then watched the beautiful explosion :D |
| techhunter06-06-06, 02:29 AM | 82. glue one end of a very thick chain to very hvy object then glue the other end to a dragon or giant. Caveat: We did this one campaign where we were trying to keep a Bronze dragon from escaping by using above trick....unfortunetly we glued one end to a lrg ship and much to our surprise the dragon started to tow the ship onto dry land and did so for a least 60 miles before the chain burst apart (i.e one the links gave out). |
| shruggar06-06-06, 10:49 AM | I refuse to number this, on moral grounds! I'd say the ring gates thing would just cause the missile to take a round-about path towards behaving normally (in one side, out the other's other, in the first's other, and out the other's in.. straight line) I have mentioned this before: Personally I'd like to glue a portable hole to something flexible so it's always "Open" Bonus points: Animate the object you're glueing it to Extra bonus points: Attach the telekenisis (or at least Unseen servant) spell to the result Extra Extra bonus points: Fill the hole with pillows and ride around in it Instant Win: Take the result as an Item Familiar. |
| E. Ravenwood06-06-06, 07:54 PM | #84. American Pie II anyone :D |
| Watchdog_of_Hades06-06-06, 09:29 PM | How does riding around in a portable hole familiar make you win? |
| Vasquine_DeTsar06-06-06, 10:58 PM | I don't know, but it sounds very convincing. :) |
| Gnome_Dragon_Disciple06-07-06, 01:49 AM | 85: Get several thousand gold pieces, use Time Stop and sovreign glue to tile the poorest street in town with the gold. Coat the top and sides of the gold with the glue. 86: Glue the stone to the trebuchet sling for instand self-destruction of a siege engine. 87: Apply sovreign glue to the button-end of an Immovable Rod, making sure to get it on the button itself as well as the part of the rod around the button. If someone gives you problems, make your touch attack to make your problem a little less problematic. 88: As 87, but for small-creature nuissances, pick them up and then poke them on the top of their head with their feet dangling 2' off the ground. |
| Kraleck06-07-06, 09:48 AM | 89. Glue a Beholder to a headless Construct/Undead. Now you have a "Cycloptic Medusa" (in appearance only). 90. Glue your ally's room as the previous "upside-down room" post, only on the walls as well. Funnier if you glue the bed to the ceiling and secure the sheets to the bed while s/he sleeps then yell "fire"/"they are stealing our stuff"/the name of a creature that they fear/have as a favored enemy/hate. |
| RavenDrake06-13-06, 05:15 PM | 91. Soverign glue a -2 Backbiter lance to the Knight (Damn kender) 92. Soverign glue the lid of the only vial of Universal Solvent you have shut. (Damn, damn kender). |
| Whisper_Swiftblade06-13-06, 05:34 PM | 93) glue a "kick me" sign to the back of someones head |
| Victor_Phoenix06-13-06, 06:04 PM | 94) Glue an Instant Fortress Cube to the inside of a frenzied berserker’s helmet. So you can stop his rage once all the monsters are dead. 95) Glue a dragon claw to the tip of a 10ft pole for instant spear 96) Glue a wonderfully Halfling prepared Spiced Roast Chicken to anything while fighting staving winter wolves {this requires a Halfling with Craft cooking or Perform Iron Chef} 97) Glue 60+ spiders together to create and Aberration 98) Glue Thunderstones to the annoying tumbling rogue whom likes to be sneaky 99) Spread Glue on the outside of a blanket and cast invisibility on the blanket for a devious yet simple trap 100) Glue 4 Gelatinous Cubes together to make a bigger Gelatinous Cube 101) Glue the Latrine seats in the Castle 102) Glue a Adamantine Helmet to your head before fighting Illithids 103) Mix Glue with all the ink vials in a Wizards or Bard College 104) Glue a flying carpet to a fish 105) Glue a Portable hole to another portable for the most expensive useless item 106) Glue Boots of Spider climbing to your hands and save 500 gold |
| CryoSilver06-13-06, 06:22 PM | 107: Glue-coated chicken in Glove of Storing = grapple fun |
| somethings9006-13-06, 06:54 PM | Sovereign Glue sets in one round so a lot of this won't work. |
| Victor_Phoenix06-13-06, 06:58 PM | The uses of Sovereign Glue are part of D&D quantum physics therefore not subsequent to any written rule. :uh-huh: |
| Tobus Neth06-13-06, 07:33 PM | Sovereign glue is made of people...... |
| DarkKestral06-13-06, 11:14 PM | Glue a Gnome and a Kender to both ends of a rope, and use them as an improvised bola-type weapon. As the weapon is ammunition, they also disappear after they're used, benefiting the party heavily. |
| Pei-Pe06-14-06, 12:21 AM | 107. Glue the ship's anchor to the deck 108. Glue the Dwarf's tankard shut 109. Glue the bar'd lute strings to the fret board. 110. Glue a good sized pebble to the inside of the paladin's boot 111. Glue a diamond to a bar table. (Bonus points if it's actually a transmuted black pudding) 112. Glue the gem for Trap the Soul to said bar table. 113. Glue Kender to BBEG for fitting punishment 114. Glue Fighter's whetstone to their sword 115. Glue the ranger's compass 15 degrees to the west 116. Glue a darf's beard to his tankard to save him time. 117. Glue the Paladin's armor together while they sleep. 118. Glue one hoof of each of the Sherrif's horses to the road. 119. Glue the BBEG's portcullis shut when you first visit 120. Glue the party wagon wheels to the ruts 121. Glue the monk's fist to their forehead and watch them learn to improvise. 122. Glue a sling stone into the pouch of the druid's sling. |
| Silverthumb12806-14-06, 03:50 AM | 123. Magical Beasts for Dummies: "I made a pigeon-rat." :D |
