WinterJedi 03-02-05, 04:29 AM	Hello everyone! A quick question. If it read like this; "You remain invisible for 1 round", does that mean you remain invisible till your next turn, or does the invisibility end at the end of your current turn? Thanks in advance!
Aricandor 03-02-05, 05:30 AM	I've always seen it as it lasts until your next turn. This is what a 1 round casting time means; that it is completed just before your next turn.
Joe Khol 03-02-05, 05:54 AM	I've always read '1 round' to run from the current point in the initiative order to the same point in the next initiative order. So, if someone turns you invisible for one round on their turn, it ends on their next turn (assuming their initiative hasn't changed), not yours. This means that you will always get on full round including one turn to act under the effect (again, assuming nothing changes you inative). That sounded a lot simpler in my head.
Aricandor 03-02-05, 06:27 AM	Hmm... Yes, that's basically it. Someone casts Slow on you, it ends on their turn after so and so many rounds. Someone turns invisible and the invisibility then ends at their turn after the duration expires. You use Swift Invisibility and it will end as soon as your next turn comes up, provided you do not break it yourself. If initiative changes, and the caster is put later in the order.. Well, then it can get messy :) The easiest way to hande that is that if the caster is put later in the order, everyone affected has the spell broken as soon as the casters turn as it was when he cast the spell. That also sounded easier in the head.. :)
