This is meant to be a joke guys so take it as such. It is what you can get away with traveling with an exhalted character

1: Tell him off, every day!
2: While he sleeps put a 100 gp necklace on a VoP character or give him a cursed magic item
3: Blow all your money on stuff and demand that the Exhalt character feed you
4: Slap him in the face, then surrender. Rinse repeat
5: Make him wash your clothes and if he doesn't take a dump in them and throw it at him.

1: He's got no reason to put up with that. Being exalted dosn't require that you hang out with people you dislike.

2: Woudn't do anything. Haveing an item put on you dosn't violate the spirit of a VoP, as the charcter would likely just give it away. As for the cursed magic item, they'd get rid of it like anyone else, as quickly as possble, they just woudn't have any temptation about trying to find someone to sell it to.

3: It takes a month for a healthy, adult human to starve to death. To be nice, he's only required to share his food with you. So your likely to end up eating half the share of utterly bland, humble food. Sounds like your punishing yourself more then him.

4: Once you surrender, he gets to bind you to prevent you from doing evil. Hog tied, treated well untell he can drop you with whatever he decieds are the proper athorthys for your crimes.

5: Again, he's got no reason to put up with that. This seems like a good reason that the exalted charcter would avoid you, and your idea for what to resort to if he refuses seems like something that would at the vary best leave him a mess going to get a bath, and your colthes sitting on the ground filthy.

Addum: Exalted chacters have to suffer fools. It's part of being that good that they aren't petty or cruel. This dosn't mean they are required to provide for morons who try to abuse there chariaty. Addtionaly, non exalted charcters will likely take offense to a person messing with someone who is a pillar of good. Possbly violent offense. A non-exalted paladion might horse whip someone giveing such offense to someone that is basicly a liveing saint.

Indeed. The OP has a very stereotypical view of what an Exalted character is.

In psychology, the term for someone who repeatedly aids an abuser is called being an "enabler". It's often used for the spouse of an abusive parent, who, to keep the relationship stable, will actually cover for someone who beats his children.

Not very exalted, is it?

Similarly, if you were to help such an abuser, you'd actually be helping the person do mean, nasty things to others. The best thing you could do for him would be to refuse the help so that he has a better chance of reforming.

Joush Mark has it right: Exalted doesn't mean putting up with repeated cruelties, even to yourself, if you could stop them. Especially if it means stopping them teaches a lesson to the person perpetrating them that such things will not be tolerated!
