What are some really stale cliches that could be used by a BBEG? I honestly couldn't find a list anywhere on the rest of the internet.

"Stale"?

How about the BBEG having to be a BBEG?

1. "I could kill you now, but I want you to suffer first!"

2. "Stand back, minions; I'll handle this one myself."

3. "To the dungeons with them."

Conquering the world, or just destroying it.

Also, at the early part of a campaign, the BBEG making a showoff just to tell the PCs hes like so powerful and mighty.

And, what about the BBEG having a dark emo past. Like being the brother of the protagonist. Or his father.

But the most cliché, i might say, is the BBEG being evil.

10. The little red button (or it's equivalent).

11. The only woman/girl in the whole tavern and in the whole town/city who shows any interests in you "brave adventurer" is smoking hot, and probably the BBEGal.

12. BBEG captures the party, then instead of killing them right away proceeds to rant a long-winded speech where he tells them his whole intricate plan.

Good god man! Your sig is a freaking strobe light! Makes me miss my home PC's broken monitor. You can do without the kaleidescope of fruitiness IMO. JUst leave it bold. And it frees up space in the sig itself.

You made me tear up.

Well, I got some complaints about the red color hurting people's eyes, so I decided to change it up.

I'm back at home now, so the color no longer shows. But glad I made you laugh with that!

I hate when villains will talk and talk about what they are going to do and their desire for revenge when they have the hero in a trap or at their mercy. In the immortal words of The Ugly from The Good The Bad and the Ugly. "If you are going to shoot, shoot, don't talk."

How about the overly elaborate, easily, escapable, totally cliched death trap? That they never watch?

I don't know about you, but if I build an overly elaborate death trap, I'm gonna watch. And make it a little harder for the hero to escape. But that's just me, I like a good show.

Those bass are pretty brutal, eh?
