This may seem to be a horribly immature topic, and it may even cause me to be banned from these boards, but I would like to post it any way.

The other day I insulted my friend (in a friendly manner, not a hostile manner) by saying "you always roll a 'one' on will saves!", so I decided to see what other D&D-style insults I could think of.

The insults on this list cannot be too vulgar or obscene, and must have a clear connection to D&D. Other than that, anything is allowed.

1. "Your mother is so fat, she could kill the tarrasque by sitting on it!"

2. "Your mother is a night hag!"

3. "You always roll a 1 on will saves." (as in "you're not playing with a full deck.")

4. "Being within 5 feet of you requires a constant fortitude check." (you may also add "DC XX" if you wish, where "XX" is any ridiculously high number.)

5. "You're so stupid that I cast feeblemind on you, and it didn't do anything!"

6. "You are so stupid that you make a zombie look smart!"

Anyone else care to add some of their own D&D-style insults?

I never said that these insults were for actual use. I am just trying to assemble a collection of D&D-themed insults for the sake of doing it.

This one is classic and often used by two guys that argue at the D&D table:

7. "Your charisma score is like, 2!

"I have low STR
You have low INT
I CAN POLYMORPH!"

For clerics: "My god can put out your god's eye" :rimshot:

For Fighters: "Is that your sword or a butter knife" :rimshot:
or "A greatsword? Compensating for a low stat" :rimshot:

For wizards: "You are neither compotent nor are you comely, you must be the fighter" :rimshot:

For Rouges: "I bet you didn't even notice that hot elf girl over there" (points, pickpockets, and stabs) :ghosted:

The rouge is more the injury guy rather than an insult man. :tiphat:

Good one.

I've once called a very spazzy, slutty girl at my school a Succubus before.

I also once commented that my friend smelt worth than a Troglodyte.

"You're only supposed to have one dump stat, not six."

"You just failed that will save so badly you rolled the dice right off the table and lost them under the refrigerator."

"Yeah, you would make the fortitude save to survive a fight with that guy...if you moved the decimal point on the DC a few spaces to the left."

Surgeon General's Warning: Using any or all of these stupid insults in real life could result in death, serious injury, or being labeled "Disfunctional Geek" for the rest of your school career.

As likely as a pixie with a holy sword.

Think slaad, only not as organized.

'Bout as useful as Heat Metal in a foundry.

As deadly as a catoblepas in a patch of mint.

30: "That rogue couldn't even pick his nose."

31: "Maybe next time you should try for a little less min and a lot more max."

32: "Not if you were the last person on the planet, and had charm person, geas and command"

33: "Your cooking tastesjust like raw Otyugh, only without the flavor"

34: "Why don't you just gate outta here"

The response to which is my baseball bat upside your head. Seriously, if anybody dared say something to that effect to my face, they wouldn't be in any shape to even think about D&D for a long time.

No. Correct answer: His wife is in a coma.

It is from an episode of Seinfeld.

Unless you really think your wife is the kind to run around on you, and if so you should focus on that problem, you should really try to remember that this is a thread about jokes, not one about actual interactions. That and look into some anger management classes.

Honestly: has anyone ever actually felt intimidated by a threat of violence on a message board? Why do people do that? All it does is make people want to provoke you.

For the record, I probably havent.

Said to a friend after he proposed to his girlfriend:
"Did she really say yes, or did she just fail her Will save?"

My response would be something like : "Why? Did your mother have a waiting list?" Y'know, something direct and straightforward, yet still something that y'won't get charged for for assault. *is saying this despite the fact that he's got a really violent temperament*.

Hrm... D&D-style insults, hrm? Yup, I've thought of a few of these before; but most of 'em need a better wording.
"You so stupid, Feeblemind made you think."
"You're so slow (stupid), yawning provokes an Attack of Opportunity."
(to a bard): "You're so weak, carrying a tune exceeds your carrying capacity."

I'm sure I know lots more, but these are the only two my tired mind can think of at the moment. ;-_-;

Are you under a feeblemind spell or are you just naturally stupid?
You're so ugly i could polymorph you to an orc and not even your momma would notice.
You're so ugly, seeing your face makes me roll fortitude.
Your BAB must be negative.
You're so fat, you got armor check penalty even when you're naked.
Not even a wish could make you pretty

It is not necessary to have zombies and saving throws in your taunts to create D&D style insults. In fact, it is better not to, and to simply channel the persona's personality into a well crafted zinger. I believe there definitely is a place for such humor in gameplay. See below:

May hungry crows feast on your liver!

Thou scurvy, old, filthy, scurry lord! Drunkenness is thy best virtue, for thou wilt be swine drunk, and in thy sleep do little harm, save to thy bedclothes about thee. Methink thou art a general offence, and every man should beat thee. You would answer very well to a whipping.

Thou didst drink the stale of horses and the guilded puddle that beasts
would cough at!

You are a bankrupt, soft and dull eyed fool! Thou blinking idiot- Give
him a halter. Thou disputes like an infant; Thou hast been at a great
feast of languages and stolen the scraps! Come Come, you talk greasily;
your lips grow foul. You *****son loggerhead, you were born to do me
shame!

Away thou issue of a mangy dog! By this hand I shall supplant some of thy teeth! Oh Look! He’s winding up the watch of his wit; By and by it will strike.

"Thy visage is likened to that of the scabbrous hindermost portions of a mongrel dog. Is it possible mayhaps that thy mother did once dally with a randy goat?"

Thou crusty botch of nature! Thou *****son mandrake! Thou wouldst eat
thy dead vomit up, you filthy bung, you load of tallow fat! May
vultures vile seize upon thy lungs thou tripe-visaged rapscallion! Thy
countenance is Lucifers privy! Down! Down to Hell, and say I sent thee
thither!!!

Vile worm! Great lubbery boy! Thou art given to fornications and to taverns, drinkings and swearings, pribbles and prabbles. Have I lived to stand at the taunt of one who makes a shambles of English? Nay! Thou hast laid thy brain in the sun and dried it! Thy draweth out the thread of thy verbosity finer than the staple of thy argument. I shall knog your urinal about your knaves cogscomb. Heaven guide thee to my cudgel. Fie! I shall knock thy bones from thy cloak! And let vultures gripe thy guts!

So that's what a negative charisma score looks like!

Ooh, ooh, let me guess. You're mother was a gibbering mouther and your father an ooze. You were also blessed at birth by the god of all things ugly.

Huh, never seen a Cancer Mage (BoVD) before.

Your face is Lucifer's Privy... Priceless.

On that note

Mantle of Beauty:
46,000 gp
Amulet of Charisma:

Wand of Eagle's Splendor:

Seeing a party member fail a diplomacy
check with the Lady of the Manor anyway:
Priceless

Some things you can't buy, for everything else there's Dragon'sHoard.

If you've ever done 236 damage to a fleeing 5hp kobold, you might be a half-orc.
If you've ever tried intimidating an locked door handle to open, you might be a half-orc.
If you've ever botched a str check and still succeeded, you might be a half-orc.
If you've ever found a vorpal blade and tried to test it's magic by pricking your finger, and criting, you might be a half-orc.
If you've ever rolled a 20 and still failed the int check, you ARE a half-orc!
Most of these have happened to my half orc Barabarian.
